BALOTE (BOĆE)
In the center of the village there are two courts for Balote (a kind of a bowling game but with smaller bowls ). Today, unfortunately, the local population has somewhat neglected it, but during the summer months the ground for Balote lives. The ground is free for all visitors.
FOOTBALL
A grassy football ground is located just outside the town center. Each year it hosts a few matches between the tourists, who visit Loviste, and the hosts, and the most important match is on the day of the Loviste Fest (first Saturday in August). During the summer, almost every day matches are being held on the half of the field, and everything is free of charge and anyone can join!
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Beach volleyball court is located along the central beach about 200m from the town center. The ground is free for all visitors.
WATER POLO AND SWIMMING
Water polo matches are held in summer and usually for festivals or holidays.
During the summer months a water polo goal is always docked and free to all interested.
As a protected cove without waves with very warm water Loviste is ideal bay for swimmers.
BASKETBALL
Along with the soccer field, there is little ground for basketball with only one basket, the basket is 3.20 m high (FIBA = 3.05 m) so that even the NBA players wouldn't be ashamed to play on it:)
SCUBA DIVING
Off-shore from the bay Bezdija to the bay Duba hold many secrets and facts, crystal-clear sea, rich in flora and fauna including two protected species, Periska shell and sea grass Posidonije. Outstandingly indented coastline with numerous bays make the waters of Loviste irresistible for all kinds of divers .
SAILING
Loviste waters are suitable for various water sports, sailing, kayaking, water skiing, pedalo ride, etc. Peljesac channel is especially popular among those who like to windsurf.
HIKING AND BIKING
Loviste has many fields roads that are very well maintained. There are about 15 km of fire roads and pathways to the olive groves and vineyardswhich are ideal for bikers. For those more demanding there is the main road to Orebic, which carries a large mount rise with the largest tilt on the whole of Peljesac. Loviste with its 40 km coastline certainly will not lack in walking trails. Preserved nature, clean air, but also geographical position provides ideal conditions for tourists looking for exactly this kind of recreation.
