Loviste is a favorite station for boaters because of its diverse and rich gastronomic offer, which is based on the Dalmatian seafood specialties. WINE AND LOCAL BRANDY
As the part of Peljesac, which is rich in tradition of wine growth, Loviste has the opportunity to enjoy the excellent black Peljesac wines (Dingac, Postup) and white Korcula wines (Pošip, Grk), dessert wine Prosecco, as well as various domestic
aperitifs Loza, Travarica, Medovača and Orahovica.
Loviste (Hvar) native wine species Prč or Muscat, whose plantations were again renewed in the last couple of years, is one of the interesting sorts of wine whit an interesting background. Prč is a white wine which gives a high percentage of sugar, many describe it as a wine with an extremely characteristic color and taste.
