In Loviste, but also in surrounding areas, numerous folk festivals and celebrations are held during the summer months. Feast of the heart of Mary, protector of Loviste, is usually celebrated at the end of June, the main feast of the summer "Lovisko Lito" always starts in the first sabbath of August.
Some of the most important holidays in the surrounding areas are the feast of St. Anthony around the 13th of June is celebrated in the Stankovic (near Orebic), St. Jacob around the 25th July in Mokalo, Assumption on the 15th of August in Trpanj and Little Lady on the 8th of September in Nakovana. Along with the holidays almost any location on the Peljesac penninsula have Fishermen evenings through July and August.
